The Consortium

A unique partnership between the Kott Gerontology Institute and participating community agencies serving senior citizens enables the Kott Gerontology Scholars Program to provide a consistently high level of education and training to interns. Supervisors from participating agencies directly responsible for on-site training and supervision of interns collaborate with Kott Gerontology Institute staff to determine eligibility, admissions and placement decisions. Final placement decisions are the sole responsibility of the Kott Gerontology Institute, with input from consortium agencies. Individual agencies are located in the suburban Chicago area and DuPage County and offer a range of senior services that may include case management and assessment, adult day care, senior protective services, legal assistance, home delivered meals, homemakers, caregiver support, counseling and information and referral. The name, office location and web site of each agency participating in the consortium are listed below. Consult these web sites for descriptions of the services offered by individual agencies.
